Vehicle Description Selling my 1972 Oldsmobile 442 with the 455 Olds Big Block V8 and working AC.
She was restored about 20 years ago, from what I can guess at.
Previous owner didn't know much of the history of the car before he got it.
Previous owner kept it in his private car museum but I drive her every chance I get.
There are no mechanical problems with this car and the AC works perfectly.
The car is not stock and not numbers matching.
I have some receipts from the cars past and judging by what I've found under the hood, she was FULLY restored about 20 years ago and I highly suspect she was used as for drag racing car at some point.
I think just about everything has been replaced/restored on this car.
Absolutely no rust.
If there is something you want to see, let me know and ill get more pictures.
The interior is in fantastic shape and headliner is perfect.
It can't be the original interior, it's in too good of shape.
The paint is good, but it is older.
No major scratches or dents.
The spoiler has a few cracks in the paint but no chips.
Vinyl Top is in perfect shape.
It must be somewhat new.
One of the chrome window trim piece is bubbling.
All the other chrome is in great condition.
Here is a list off aftermarket things that I have installed:

In 1972 the 442 was just an appearance package that you could get with any engine.
The vin does NOT identify the 442.
I'm not the original owner so I can not confirm that it was ordered with the 442 option.
