General Manager (Management)

The General Manager will develop and maintain a highly engaged workforce, build and foster a positive relationship with our customer, and ensure the efficient operation of the distribution site.

o Leading operational and financial performance by providing direction and leadership to a team of exempt and non-exempt associates o Developing and managing a comprehensive strategy for the facility by shaping requirements, assessing deliverables and utilizing resources to help eliminate process problems o Working with Human Resources to resolve employee relation issues o Investing in the development of top performers, encouraging and supporting growth opportunities o Lead and support future planning and continuous improvement initiatives o Ensure operational excellence in all warehouse areas, related equipment, and warehouse management systems o Ensure safe operation of the warehouse including meeting company standards for sanitation, maintenance, safety and security o Identify and record performance measurements to align with customers' goals and/or needs Position requirements:
o 5-7 years of experience in warehousing or distribution o 5-10 years leadership experience o Continuous Process Improvement knowledge and experience o Must be PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint o Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and labor management systems preferred o Bachelor's or master's degree preferred o Experience developing and/or managing financials; experience with HR practices We offer competitive pay and great benefits.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
