Medical Equipment Delivery Driver

Hickory, NC Hickory, NC Full-time Full-time $16 an hour $16 an hour Technicians are responsible for performing day to day activities in his or her area, including delivery, pick ups, and troubleshooting.
Drivers are also responsible for the care and maintenance of equipment in their warehouse/vehicle and facilities.
Responsibilities include the following:
Be able to work 10-12 hour shifts Be on-call hours some evenings and weekends, but mostly will consist of orders during the week and rotating Saturdays/Sundays.
Travel within designated area as necessary and back-up fellow drivers as a team.
Delivery, pick-up and service of specialty medical equipment and respiratory equipment for skilled nursing facilities in the surrounding area using company provided cell phone, vehicle and fuel.
Follow policies and procedures as they relate to the DME position.
Promote the company's image, products, and services when appropriate.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Ability to work independently and productively without close supervision.
Flexible schedule for on-call hours, overtime, and emergencies.
Professional appearance (no jeans, work shirts provided) Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organized and punctual.
Able to deliver excellent customer/patient service.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
Must be 21 years of age, have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a THOROUGH BACKGROUND CHECK.
